Design possibilities and restrictions
When creating a design you should have in mind from the beginning for which boat model and constructions are you aiming. These parameters will inform what is available and what is permitted.

A1, F, G, WWR
- a) Designs up to 3 color, max;
- b) Only on the deck;
- c) Should be very simple designs;
- d) Printed vinyl. The areas available are defined in one of the attachments
E
- a) Designs up to 3 color, max;
- b) Deck and hull allowed;
- c) Keep it simple. These marathon boats are very restricted on weight, so complex paintings can mean extra weight;
SCS
- a) Up to 5 colors. Clear carbon is not available for the following models: Surfski, Cinco, SIX;
- b) More complex designs allowed;
- c) Printed vinyl. The areas available are defined in one of the attachments
3. What to consider when creating a design:
- a) What model and construction to design for. SCS constructions allow for more options, but are less requested;
- b) Choose colors from the available palette as listed on the below template;
- c) Consider colors for stickers, rim, number holder, rudder hatch, where available;
- d) The rim can only have one color.
- e) Avoid metallic colors. Avoid gradients unless it will be printed vinyl;
- f) In kayaks, the first 70 cm and the last 60 can only have one color, as in the picture:
- g) In canoes this margin drops to 35 cm at each end.
